An important mechanism for expanding the academic independence of higher education institutions is the annual updating and development of educational programs. On 12.03.2019, the Department of Geodesy and Construction together with students organized a discussion of the educational program 6B07301 - Geodesy and Cartography for 2020. Those present spoke about the provision of EP with practical bases. The students' suggestions were taken into consideration. The need to introduce new disciplines, including "BIM technologies in building design," is growing, as modern specialists need to meet the requirements of the labor market.
