Lecturers of the Department of Automation and Information Technologies T.S. Zhylykbaev and E.R. Sovetbaev successfully completed the international professional development programme ‘China–Central Asia Advanced Computing Training Programme’, which took place from 20 January to 4 February 2026 at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Wuhan, Hubei Province, PRC).

The programme was aimed at developing competencies in the field of high-performance computing, modern digital technologies and promising areas of development of computing infrastructure. During the training, participants learned about advanced scientific and technical solutions, modern approaches to big data processing, high-performance computing, and international experience in engineering training.

Upon completion of the training, participants were awarded certificates from Huazhong University of Science and Technology confirming completion of the advanced training programme, as well as certificates from the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China confirming successful completion of the international programme.
